New ideas and suggestions for our 2017

This was a special year. We worked about many new projects: some of them went in the right way, some other not. But, as you may already know, we are always trying to do our best and improve the experiences that our customers can live in our borough.

Storytelling, cooking lessons: what else?

As you may have read in a previous post, we have opened a new adventure. A storytelling school that is our new project and will gather people from all over the world to learn how to build a story and how to perform it.

The school is something that connects with our first project: the Italian School, born in cooperation with Centro Culturale Academy Olmo in 1989. A regular activity that, since years, organizes Italian language courses, for all levels, from beginners to advanced.

Both the Italian school and the Storytelling center are hosted in La Canonica, a beautiful ancient building, on top of the village just next to the Church and a small public park with the Central village tower.

If you want to learn Italian in a different way, check in at our cooking classes. Held by Massimiliano, you can improve your cooking talent with his experience and deep the knowledge of techniques and traditional Romagna recipes.

And not only this: Romagna has a huge variety of wonderful food and wine producers. Massimiliano, as qualified sommelier and food expert, can lead you to the best places where you will find the real and authentic Romagna food.

Living nature and history

Our hotel lies in a beautiful valley, full of history. Here Dante and San Francesco from Assisi lived. A few kilometers far from our borough, Saint Benedetto founded his abbey, a magical place, where monks lived and prayed. From here, you can follow that natural path that brings you to the Acquacheta falls that Dante mentioned in his Divina Commedia.

And from here you can visit one of the most ancient chestnuts forest in the area or better go truffle hunting with Matteo, Otto and Rex (the two Lagotto dogs): an amazing adventure you will barely live elsewhere.

These are just some of the things you can live here. Or, else, simply enjoy the relax that our tiny borough and its people can offer you, to rediscover a human experience, far from the crowd and from the busy cities we are living in.
